Carissa McCollum

Carissa is a dedicated health and wellness professional with a passion for helping individuals move better, feel stronger, and live pain-free. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Health Science and holds a certification in personal training, combining academic knowledge with hands-on clinical experience.

Since joining Jacksonville Health and Wellness Center in 2023, Carissa has undergone extensive in-house training in patient care protocols and a wide range of therapeutic modalities. She is highly skilled in chiropractic support techniques, including electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), ultrasound therapy, and spinal traction, as well as advanced therapies such as PEMF, red light therapy, EWOT (Exercise With Oxygen Therapy), and RIFE frequency therapy.

In her role, Carissa works closely with patients to guide them through their individualized care plans, ensuring they feel supported, educated, and confident throughout their healing journey. She also plays an integral role in the patient experience, coordinating front-of-house operations such as patient onboarding, scheduling, and visit flow—helping create a seamless, welcoming, and well-orchestrated clinical environment.

Her approach blends technical expertise with genuine compassion, creating a space where patients feel both empowered and cared for.

Carissa is deeply committed to helping others reduce pain, restore function, and optimize their overall well-being. Building meaningful connections with patients and being a part of their health journey is what she loves most about what she does. Outside of the clinic, Carissa brings that same sense of passion and presence to her personal life as an avid skydiver, embracing both challenge and adventure.
