We live in a time where “lifestyle diseases” like obesity, Type II diabetes and heart disease have, unfortunately, become the norm rather than the exception. In fact, the World Health Organization estimates that “Under-and over-nutrition and diet-related chronic diseases account for more than ½ of the world’s diseases.” The National Cancer Institute estimates that 35-60% of cancers worldwide are related to diet alone. With these statistics in mind, we must all recognize that we are active participants on this health and wellness journey and must begin practicing prevention. We no longer have the luxury to wait for a personal health crisis before deciding to eat healthier and exercising.
For the very first time in Jacksonville, a program of dietary and lifestyle excellence called “Wellness for Life” will be offered to the public. “Wellness for Life” & the 100% DIET offers a safe, effective complementary treatment for diabetes, heart disease, obesity, weight loss, chronic pain management, depression, anxiety, sleep disorders – to name a few. All recommendations and information provided are not from the latest “fad” diet, but rather from longitudinal epidemiological studies on the longest lived, the latest scientific research articles as well as pioneers in the field of nutritional medicine that have published evidence for nutritional intervention, treatment and prevention of a multitude of health related conditions.
Dr. Repole and staff will guide you through a proven, common sense, one-on-one health and wellness program that takes the confusion and difficulty out of healthy eating and living.

Our Current Health Care Crisis; The Steps to Wellness; The Pleasure Trap; Current Nutritional Research; Secrets to Longevity from the Longest Lived; The 21-Day Detox Program; Dairy and Health; The Protein Myth; Water Hydration; Take Home Prescriptions; The Living for Wellness - Juicing Demo; External Detoxification
Class #2 includes the following class curriculum:
Nutrition 101; The Carbohydrate Myth, Glycemic Index and Balancing Insulin; Fat Nutrition; Protein; Fiber; Raw Foods; The 100% DIET Implementation; Recipes; The New Food Pyramid; Meal Planning; Reading Food Labels and the Virtual Grocery Tour; Cooking Demonstrations & Sampling of the All Foods
The class lecture will be presented by Dr. Jon Repole & "Virtual" Cooking Demonstration by Heather Repole, L.M.T.
Class#3 includes the following class curriculum:
1. A presentation by Dr. Repole: The Adrenals & the Stress Connection; Mind/Body - What does it mean?; Practical Therapy Interventions
2. Meditation Class by Lisa Caton, LMT (please see Lisa's Bio under the "Yoga" section.)
- Lisa will present a comprehensable approach to the mind/body connection through meditation, it's daily applications & the role it plays in achieving & maintaining health & wellness. We will discuss the many benefits of meditation, including stress relief, effects it has on the heart & breath, mental clarity, our ability to experience joy & finding inner stillness in a chaotic world.
- Lisa will be offering explanation, instruction & time to practice a variety of "mindfulness" meditation techniques as well as tips for starting & sticking to a meditation practice. You will have the opportunity to share about your experiences & ask questions.
- Lisa will end with a brief overview of yoga as a form of moving meditation.
