The 8 Steps to Wellness
Our comprehensive treatment plans are based upon the following 8 Steps to Wellness:

2. External Detoxification: Involves a comprehensive cleansing program to eliminate “toxins” from the outside “world” that penetrates into our body causing ill health
3. 100% Diet, H20, Air, Love & Sunshine: Implementing a Program of Dietary Excellence based on eating 100% of your foods from 100% “natural” sources
4. Specific, Individualized/Bio-Uniqueness: Genomics (Understanding Epigenetics, Nutrigenetics & Nutrigenomics as various subsets of Genomics). Practical application includes specialized testing to find specifically what dietary program, exercise program is suited for your constitution.
5. Exercise Triangle: Balancing aerobic, anaerobic and flexibility training for optimal health
6. Micro-Organism Homeodynamics: Beliefs, Self Care/Awareness, Rest & The Mind/Body Connection. Implementing Stress Reduction, Relaxation Techniques (including proper sleep), Goal Setting, etc.
7. Macro-Organism Homeodynamics: Relationships (Family, Neighbor, Community, Culture, Cosmos & Spirituality. Example to include Community Contribution, Volunteering, Etc.
8. Systems Biology, Patient Centered, Complementary & Functional Medicine. Practical application involves treating the person with the disease rather than the disease itself. It also involves utilizing the principles of functional medicine and creating a team of practitioners that are working together rather than against each other.
